Hey There!
I’m Stephanie Sandoval. I’m a designer, illustrator, and animator currently based in Houston, Texas. But, I was born and raised in San Pedro Sula, Honduras!
I graduated with a BFA in Motion Media Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) where my skills skyrocketed among with numerous student awards. As of today, I absolutely love everything art related! Yet, my favorite artistic field has got to be motion graphics! I love the merge between animation, illustration, and branding!
Throughout college I decided to dip my toes into almost every MoGraph style. So now that I've tried almost everything, I discovered... I’m a generalist! Ranging from illustrative design and animation to 3D and typography, I love everything! If I had to pick a style I enjoy the most, it would probably be illustration (I love to draw!) but I just love everything and maybe that's why I'm a jack-of-all trades! Regardless, no matter what style I do, I always aim to do it well! So, nope, “master of none” does not apply here! (thank you online tutorials)
P.S If you ask me whether I lean more towards design or animation... My answer is BOTH. I love making things move, but I also love to help with the visual development of a concept (if possible, even come up with the concept itself). That's why I love motion graphics, it's so versatile!
Aaanyway... aside from motion graphics, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, reading, watching YouTube videos from people that inspire me, and getting closer to God and my Catholic faith!
Fun fact: I'm also one of those people who likes to organize things into clear plastic containers hehe. Okay, byee!
