CoMotion 2023
2022-2023
Back in November 2022, I was gladly selected to participate in SCAD CoMotion 2023's branding team. CoMotion is the largest student-led motion graphics conference in the world, hosted by the Savannah College of Art and Design's Motion Media Department. Within the branding team, I collaborated as a Graphic Designer. The deliverables I created include title card designs for the student showcase, a nominee mortise template, and a brochure/trifold to handout to companies.

Title Cards
An important part of CoMotion is the student showcase competition. In it, we have different categories within the motion graphics field for students to participate in. After showing the categories and the nominees, companies get to vote on their favorites! This year I had the opportunity to design 4 title cards: 3D Motion, Infographic Motion, Kinetic Type Motion, and Logo Animation Motion.

Nominee Mortises
In addition to the title cards, I also designed the nominee mortises for the student showcase. This is the design used to present the student nominees at the showcase.
Trifold
One of the last things I helped design was a trifold. It was my first time designing for print, and it was a fun experience! Even though I only intend to design for motion, doing this trifold gave me the opportunity to practice layout design skills, and to use these layout principles in my styleframes for other projects!
