Sunrise
2022
This project consisted on choosing an artwork pre-2000 and being inspired by it to create a new artwork of our own. I was inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night Over the Rhône (1888). I knew I wanted to implement a human building; artificial and natural light; and the reflection of light on water, so I started by drawing out digital sketches. My color palette intends to reflect the beautiful colors of a peaceful sunrise. This was the final result! Check out some of my process down below.
