The Modern Clock Factory

The Modern Clock Factory is a set of style frames that follows the fictional story of an artisan designing numbers for his clock, but with a modern twist.
The project prompt was simply to deconstruct a time-keeping device. I'm a big fan of Illustrator's shape builder tool, so instead of sketching my ideas out, I just went right into Illustrator and started deconstructing numbers. That is when I came up with the story.
Throughout the piece, I focused on the deconstruction of the clock's numbers. The clock hands in each frame reference the position of each number in the clock.
